Install VINSpot in 3 Easy Steps

Follow these instructions to install the VINSpot extension on Google Chrome.

Download the Extension

Click the download button above to get the VINSpot extension package. The file will download as a ZIP file to your computer.

Extract the ZIP file to a folder you'll remember (e.g., Desktop or Documents)

Enable Developer Mode in Chrome

Open Chrome and navigate to the extensions page, then enable Developer Mode.

  1. Type chrome://extensions in your address bar and press Enter
  2. Find the "Developer mode" toggle in the top-right corner
  3. Click the toggle to turn it ON (it should turn blue)

Load the Extension

With Developer Mode enabled, load the VINSpot extension into Chrome.

  1. Click the "Load unpacked" button that appeared
  2. Navigate to the folder where you extracted VINSpot
  3. Select the folder and click "Select Folder"
  4. VINSpot will appear in your extensions list!
Pin VINSpot to your toolbar for easy access! Click the puzzle icon → Pin VINSpot
